Please send community calendar submissions in a typed format, either via Word document attachment or typed into the body of the email. Please avoid sending event information solely in flyers or images. We recommend that you send calendar submissions at least 2 weeks in advance — or one month for the print edition. Calendar submissions just in English or just in Spanish will not be translated by El Hispanic News, and will only be run in the language submitted. El Hispanic News does not charge for calendar entries and attempts to print as many as possible, but cannot guarantee any particular submission will run.
